First the Kids have kept me more than a little busy:
and with the weather getting so much better I have been able to take them out doors more frequently. Its lovely! The kids and I also went to Kansas to visit my dad. It is no secret that I am not a fan of the mid west but since it is the "scene of the crime" with regards to where I killed my hip. I must admit it was actually a ton of fun! Even the two 8 hour driving days was worth it. I also got to run some pretty decent mileage while I was out there. Take that Orange City Medical center!
Just a week ago I went and visited one my my dearest friends. I got to go see Dan in Phoenix! I know, I know look at me be a big time traveler in just a few weeks. I was so blessed by his generosity of buying me the plane ticket for my birthday. Phoenix brought a tons of mile stone!
First time being carded (sorry mom =]),
First time climbing a mountain since the injury (Dan did it with me)
Fastest mile time so far (7:38 thank you very much)
Lastly I have officially logged over 100 trail miles!
Those are the miles exclusively done on the pavement, not walking or gym time included!!
Such a big deal and a bigger blessing. What verse is more fitting that "commit yourself to the Lord and your plan will succeed." proverbs 16:3. I would have to say I am working everyday to follow his will and work for what he has given me.
I will be better but until next time with posting, love Him!
